Practice Ethos
Dr Tickle believes that all patients need time to discuss and explore their medical problems, so provides a 25 minute standard consultation. During this time, any symptoms or health concerns and their effects on your well being will be assessed with a thorough, appropriate physical examination and blood, urine or microbiological investigations as required. Once a working diagnosis has been reached, Dr Tickle will guide you through the various management options available and together you will decide on the best course of action.
Dr Tickle believes that continuity of care is the best way of maintaining health, avoiding unnecessary repetition or duplication for you when you need to see your GP. The nature of the doctor-patient relationship, built up like this over many years, is invaluable when it comes to making difficult diagnoses and maintaining open and trusting communication when you are feeling under the weather.
Wherever appropriate, Dr Tickle follows the most up to date guidelines for the management of significant health conditions, ensuring that you get the best medical care available. She also liaises with a wide network of London’s best medical and surgical consultants to take advice on your behalf and to provide timely specialist opinion, investigation and treatment of your health problems.
